Website update
Work on the web final project continues. I got the basic layout covered. Just to add the fancy stuff and the content, do the other pages and link them. I want to do some flash elements for the enter page and photo gallery also. We'll see how it goes.

creating navigation lists
As the web design course continues, we are learning more and more elements which will essentially lead to us creating our own websites for out final project. Today we learned about fonts and typography how to create and style lists. The recommended websites that we were referred to were extremely helpful- especially the one that gave a step by step breakdown (using the CSS codes) of how to build a decent looking page from scrap.

Creating column layouts
This week we actually started on the ground works for our final project. We did a refresher exercise in the the different ways of adding styles to a page using CSS and we also learned how to create columns. We were asked to created a wire frame of what we want out final webpage to look like and based on that, the grid structure was determined. Introduction to Firebug
This week the lecturer introduced the class to a fun and easy tool that will definitely aid in doing ur web designs using Mozilla Firefox. After installing firebug we were able to temporarily edit our page so we see what works so that it willbe easier to code the CSS file in text editor. Major coolness. Lookignforward to the in class assignment next week to edit the Google page.
